Day 39: North Germany by the River Eider

Its interesting to notice the differences in Germany as compared to Denmark. There are a lot more people and everything seems that bit busier. I don't think its my imagination but every country has  a really different feel to it. Not just the sign posts and the language but the people are different. They have all been lovely and friendly in each country, Being in a position of asking lots of people for directions and having a chat, gives you a feel of the way they relate to you and each country feels a bit different!

Sand dunes are are a big problem on the west coast of Denmark. They can become really  huge and when they move they cover everything in their path including this lighthouse whose days are numbered.
